Position: Company Apprentice
Claire Little began her dance training at the age of four in Clarkston, Michigan at Mt. Zion School of Performing Arts under the direction of Maria Mohrman. In 2007, she was accepted into the Hip Hop Company and a few years later she branched into all styles. While at MZSPA, she studied under Carmen Craft, Maria Mohrman, Teresa Muller, Jared Hurd, Colleen Tihansky, and several other guest choreographers. At the age of eleven, she was admitted to the teacher training program which is separated into three tears: assistant, rehearsal director, and teacher. Under the direction of Maria Mohrman, Ms. Little worked her way up to the highest level by 2013. Now, she has been part of the company staff for Mt. Zion for four years and has been awarded numerous awards for her pieces such as: "Most Entertaining","Judge's Choice Awards","High Point Award", "Video of the Week", and several invitations to New York and Hollywood. Currently, she is attending Oakland University to receive her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Education. Upon graduation, Claire looks forward to relocating to a city to pursue a life in the performing arts.
