Dorka started dancing in 2008, at age 5. Her training began jazz, and continued with classical ballet for 10 years (as well as character dance), at Hungarian Dance Academy. She lived in Budapest, Hungary where she has also done many summer intensives. In 2017, Dorka moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan. To continue her education she became a student at Academy of Russian Classical Ballet. She learned from many notable instructors including Jessica Morschakov, Nikolai Morschakov, Justin Alesna, Olga Korotava and Marianna Lobanova. Dorka has performed in the Nutcracker twice (and four times in Hungary), Don Quixote,Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, as well as contemporary works by Dusty Button. Dorka also participated in YAGP where she received second place with her contemporary group. At age 15 she realized that contemporary and modern dance became a part of her and wanted to start professional dancing. In 2018, Dorka was accepted to X2 and is now enjoying her first season!
